The 2012 IEEE International Conference on Vehicular Electronics and Safety (ICVES’12) which is an annual forum sponsored by the IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society will take place in İstanbul during July 24-27, 2012. It brings together researchers and practitioners to discuss vehicle electronics, and safety systems research and practice. ICVES’12 welcomes papers dealing with any aspect of vehicle electronics and safety systems.

ICVES is the Conference the ITS Society has specifically identified for presentations on Electric Vehicles, Hybrid and Plug-In Hybrid Vehicle related presentations. Researchers in these areas are especially encouraged to submit their latest results and attend.

(March 19) The papers are under review now.
(March 7) Due to numerous requests, the deadline of paper submission is extended. After the extended deadline of March 18, 2012, the paper reviewing process will be started immediately.

İstanbul connecting the two continents of Europe and Asia and being a cross-road of civilizations for many centuries is an ideal location for the IEEE International Conference on Vehicular Electronics and Safety.
